Okay, so you’ve already bought your own EV charger but need someone to install it. You’ve come to the right place. Yes. That’s right. At LMS Electrical, in addition to the supply of EV chargers, we also handle the installation. So, if you’re based in Brisbane or the Gold Coast, our team can come to your home or business and install your charger quickly, safely, and hassle-free.
We are Tesla Certified EV charger Installers, Ocular Approved Installers, and Fronius Services Partners. If you have an EV charger from another brand, we kindly ask that you reach out beforehand.
Standard EV Charger Installation
Our standard EV charger installation process provides for single-phase or three-phase connections with a charger installed within 15 meters of a building’s electrical switchboard. Standard Installation also includes an RCBO Type A protection device in the existing electrical switchboard to protect your charger from electrical faults for safety and peace of mind.
Standard installation does not include the costs involved in having to upgrade a domestic electricity supply. For example, the installation of a 3-phase connection when only single-phase power is available, or other switchboard upgrades. Please note that work outside of the scope of our standard installation will be quoted for separately.
Our installation process generally involves five key stages:
- Property Assessment and Placement Planning
- Undertaking Electrical/Switchboard Upgrades if Needed
- Mounting the Charger
- Wiring and Connecting the Charger
- Final Assessment and Testing for Functionality
